RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious Education Handbook

General Religious Education information: classes are held September through May on Sunday mornings for grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (Grades 1 and 2: Eucharist I and Eucharist II), and Sunday evenings for grades 6, 7 and 8 (Grades 7 and 8: Confirmation I and Confirmation II). Preparation for the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation are each a two year process.  Grades 5 and 8 will meet in the Carriage House.

Class schedules and other Religious Education announcements are published in the bulletin. If you would like more information, call the Rel. Ed. office at 848-1258 press 2.

Sacramental Classes: This includes the celebrations of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. For all sacraments, parents/guardians must register with the parish.  For each of the sacraments that your children will receive, there will be instructions for the parent(s)/guardians.  Each year the programs are updated and renewed so it is important that you make plans to attend these sessions.

Schedules and other Religious Education announcements are listed above and are published in the bulletin. If you would like more information, call the Rel. Ed. office at 848-1258 press 2.

Religious Education Classes:  We average about 55 children per class. Class schedules and other Religious Education announcements are published in the bulletin. If you would like more information, call the Rel. Ed. office at 848-1258 press 2.

R.C.I.A.  Fr. Simon conducts the R.C.I.A. process which runs year round. These sessions are for those who desire to become members of our faith....some were raised in other faith traditions and others were raised without any tradition at all. Please know that all are welcome to join us.

R.C.I.C. is for children, grades 3-8, to complete their reception into the full communion with the Catholic Church by preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist.

Youth Group: This program is for students in grades 7-12 and is open to all young men and women who gather to gain spiritual enrichment, enjoy social activities, participate in community services, and provide assistance with parish functions. For up to date information please see our Youth Group tab.
