WELCOME TO SAINT CATHERINE'S PARISH
On behalf of our parish community we wish to welcome you and your family to Saint Catherine's. We are a community that can trace its roots back to the 1850's and a little church that once stood in what is today, Saint Catherine's Cemetery. Like all churches at that time, we began to grow with the great influx of immigrants and early in the last century built the beautiful stone church that can be seen from Church Street and houses our Chapel today.
In the 1980's it became necessary to build a much larger church and with the skill of the architects, they constructed our present church, using the previous building. As you can see, we have continued to grow and are currently in the midst of a major expansion and renovation project.
Today, Saint Catherine's numbers about 1480 families from the surrounding communities and finds itself in a place that seems to continue to grow. Although there are many families, we still try to keep a sense of family, a place where people know one another and truly care for one another.
